The first chairman, Institute of Chartered Accountats of Nigeria (ICAN), Ikorodu Branch, Dr. Samson Disu, FCA, has joined the league of important personalities and residents of Ikorodu that has lauded the representative of Ikorodu federal constituency, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, over the facilitation of a Command Secondary School to his constituency.
Rep. Benson, who is the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Defence, received the approval for the establishment of the Command Secondary School which will be located within the 174 Battalion, Odogunyan in Ikorodu, Lagos State, in late August, 2026.

In a letter of commendation to the three -term lawmaker, dated Friday, September 11th, 2026, Dr Disu, who is Corporate Services Partner, Adewale Disu & Co. (Chartered Accountants/Tax Practitioners), described the school as an investment for the propagation and protection of Ikorodu, Lagos and the future of the country at large.
“On behalf of myself, family and entire staff of Adewale Disu & Co. (Chartered Accountants/Tax Practitioners), I extend our sincere and heartfelt appreciation to Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Defence, and the representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, for another commendable and impactful representation with the facilitation of another landmark project – the Command Secondary School which will be located within the 174 Battalion, Ikorodu.”

”This is not just another project, but a significant and laudable effort to secure and protect the future of Ikorodu and Lagos State. Through this, more children will have access to quality education, especially those of the army personnel serving our dear country, so also are children of numerous families residing in and around Odogunyan, Ikorodu and the country generally.”
The chartered accountant and legal practitioner, also commended Rep. Benson for his quality and impactful representation, adding he has no doubt that the people of Ikorodu will renew his mandate at the poll come January 2027 with massive votes.

Thus, your re-election by your party to stand for re -election for the third -term is based on proven track record, quality representation that you have displayed over the years and the trust that the people of Ikorodu have in you.

Come January, 2027, we shall renew that mandate for you to continue with the unprecedented representation, purposeful leadership and sincere generosity.”
He added in his letter: “I have no doubt that Ikorodu and Lagos State in general have not seen anything yet from you as the renewal of your mandate next year will mark the beginning of many greater heights that you will still attain and milestone achievements that you will also record.
